3 ALBUMS IN 2024 (FUNDRAISER)

Hey hey people. I’m raising some funds to go towards recording and pressing a few records this year. I am super lucky to be a person who gets an overflow of musical and song ideas. The opposite of writer’s block, I guess. But it presents another problem in that I have to get these songs recorded and out there before they get pushed aside for newer ideas. I have quite a few things I’ve written in the last few years that I think are worthy of exploration and I’m inspired to start recording at a fairly quick pace so I can make space for even more music.

Three projects I have lined up are a follow up to last year’s Swerve LP, an album of songs inspired by loops I’ve created in my morning loop series on Instagram and a group of songs with a decidedly political bent that have yet to see the light of day.

Though I did release a record last year, Swerve, it came after a two year dry spell due to obligations around taking care of an aging family member and the covid pandemic slowing everything down to a crawl. Though I was writing and recording during this time, it took quite an effort to even finish up a shorter record. I’m inspired this year to hit the ground running and continue producing as much music as possible.

If this sounds like something you’d like to support, great! Keep reading to find out how.

The Nails Are Low

This is the first record in the pipe. An album including a few songs I’ve written in the last month or so, some lifted from my morning loop sessions that I thought worthy of fleshing out. Listed is a working song list. One song has already been recorded and uploaded to Bandcamp. You can listen here: https://sandbloom.bandcamp.com/track/bettin-on-the-sun

Bettin’ On The Sun
Ain’t Nobody
What You Get
After Later
Solstice
Badeyou
Always Steppin’
Say It’s Alright

This list and songs may change. I never know how albums are going to go. Often, I make decisions about songs to include or cut as I’m recording.
