MAKING MOVES

PHEW! It’s been a wild beginning of the year! I’ve been hitting the road
pretty hard. 5 weeks of the last 7, meaning I’ve had very little down or
domestic time. All is going well and continuing apace, even if that pace
is breakneck.  Oh yes, and on top of that, Nikki and I have found an
apartment and are moving in this week.

Bam.

I am currently writing this from aboard a Megabus somewhere between
New York and DC, en route to the last show of this journey at Bloombars,
culminating in a “Midnight Blue” fundraiser. A special midnight show
featuring songs from my latest, Still Blue. The trip has been great, taking
me from Durham, NC to Charlotte, DC, Baltimore, New York and back to
DC. Good people and lots of love all along the way. I got to feature at a
midnight erotic poetry slam and took just about every means of
transportation available, except boat. In two words, I’m beat. Ready for rest
and then? My next tour, which will consume all of March. The apex of the
trip being the APCA national college conference in Jacksonville, FL where
I hope to solidify next year’s schedule with MANY college bookings.
